Senate President, Bukola Saraki
The lead counsel in the ongoing trial of the Senate President, Kanu Agabi has commended the Chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) over the appearance of 90 lawyers representing the accused person.
At the sitting today, April 6, Agabi while standing to call out the names of the lawyers in his team said Danladi will be respected for having 90 lawyers appear before him.

“My lord, it will go down in history as one of the judges with the highest number of lawyers appeared before him – 90 lawyers – my lord,” Agabi exclaimed.
The ratio of number of lawyers on the side of the prosecution, the Code of Conduct Bureau to that of Bukola Saraki is one to 45 compared to the prosecution team which had about five lawyers.
Sariki is facing trial on a 13-count charge for falsely declaring his assets to the CCB.
Saraki is facing 13-count charge of false declaration of assests.
Following the commencement of Saraki’s trial, at the Code of Conduct Tribunal on Tuesday, April 5, the Senate president has been urged to resign his position rather than be humiliated out of office.
